Food Pantry crisis contonues!

Whether you are a past, present of current friend of the House, we need your help.

The food pantry is at an ALL-TIME LOW. We will probably have enough 'community' food for another 2-3 weeks at best.

About RMH / Detroit

Ronald McDonald House of Detroit, providing a home-away-from home and support services to parents with hospitalized children, opened November of 1979 in the Detroit Medical Center adjacent to Children's Hospital of Michigan. For more information about staying at the house and our accommodations and services, please click on Staying Here.

The Detroit House was built in 1979, and is owned and operated by a non-profit Board comprised of leaders of the community, residents and representatives of McDonald's restaurants.

Eighty-five percent of the home's funding depends on continued generosity of individuals and businesses. We are particularly grateful to our Major Donors. The affiliation with Ronald McDonald House Charities and McDonald's continues to contribute about 15 percent of the cost of operating the house.
