If you have a child who will be staying at Detroit Childrens' Hospital (or, for that matter, any of the medical facilities in the Detroit area), Ronald McDonald House of Detroit can be YOUR "home away from home."

We have 25 guestrooms with semi-private bathrooms. We also have a large kitchen (see below), two living rooms, a dining room, computer center, workout facility, 2 laundry rooms and a garden courtyard. Guests bring their own food - there are food lockers and refrigerators assigned to each room.

You only need to bring along personal hygiene items and food (and 'favorite' bedding items, if desired). However, should you come in on an emergency basis and do not have the time to gather your personal items, the House can provide bedding, food, personal hygiene products and other personal needs. We understand you may have other things occupying your mind!

In addition to all the 'normal' amenities mentioned above, the house also offers internet access, large screen TVs (complete with VCR and DVD capabilities) and a wide selection of games and toys to occupy siblings.
